Our Projects

.358win reminton 783 'Thumper'

This Remington 783 was built in the style of a European driven rifle, with a Swan chromoly barrel, NECG front and rear sights, Rusan pivot scope mount, muzzle sling swivel and custom ceramic painted stock.

.458wm ruger m77 mkii 'BUFFALO'

This Ruger M77 MkII was custom built for a left-handed hunter. Design elements of the Ruger African, such as a radial ported muzzle break and ebony forend tip were combined with classic 20th Century safari rifle aesthetics, with a modern touch. It sports soldered on sights and barrel band sling swivel from New England Custom Guns, Shilen 1:14 barrel, KickEez recoil pad, extra recoil lug on the barrel, and Talley magnum crossbolts. The stock is the the original Ruger walnut stock from the doner rifle, which was a 300WM.

12g Buckmaster PB12 Gen2 'Competition ready'

A service we provide is modifying shotguns for IPSC shooters. This Buckmaster has had an aggressive loading port cut for faster quad-loads, action bars hand-lapped to the receiver, shell lifter polished, chamber and bore honed, barrel ported for deduced recoil impulse, an aftermarket buttstock, enlarged charging handle and glacier silver cerakote with a durable clear coat.

300wm Remington 700 'Long Range Hunter'

Starting life as a 1977 Remington 700 BDL in 30-06sprg, this rifle is now a heavy long range hunting rifle - perfect for hitting deer from distance. It underwent some modifications including Sako extractor conversion, opening the bolt face from .473" to .535", new Sendero contour barrel (which was custom turned from a Green Mountain blank). It's been cerakoted in Sniper Grey, the bolt was microslicked and it's sitting in a Boyd's Pro Varmint stock. Truely the rifle of choice for long range hunters.

30-06sprg zastava lkm70 'Stützen'

This started life as a bare receiver. A second hand barrel was fitted and rechambered, then chopped to 18”, with shop made sights fitted. Note the front sight is integrally machined into the base, as opposed to the standard dovetail front sights. This adds a little bit of flair to the build, if you didn’t know, you’d miss it. And other little detail is the checkering in the top rear of the front sight base. This is to cut glare and ensure clear view of the bead. Once again, it’s the little details that bring this gun together. The barrel, action and trigger guard were cerakoted in midnight blue by Ceramic Coating Services. The bottom metal is a conversion by Voere, which takes Sauer 202 5 shot magazines. On top is a Leupold VX-1 3-9x40, with EAW swing off quick detach rings. The trigger is from Recknagel, with a two position safety that allows the bolt to be opened on safe. The stock was second hand, off an old Parker Hale 1200. It was inletted for the side release for the magazine. The end was docked and fitted with a Tasmanian Oak forend and Madagascar Ebony spacer for a bit of elegance. The end was shaped to a traditional German Schnabel. The checkered panels were stippled to give a more modern European look to the rifle. This was full length bedded, with the front sling swivel screwing into a custom boss on the underside of the barrel for added stability. Finally, was completed with a traditional oil finish. A lot of work when into this build, and I think the results speak for themselves.
